I have been trying to detach myself from other people's lives lately because I get so affected by some of the things that go on, but it's pretty much impossible sometimes. I guess that's when you know you are a good friend. When their pain affects you. When their triumphs affect you. When their happiness and sadness affect you. When you get excited for them when something amazing happens.
Unfortunately today it was someone's sadness. A father who wants to spend time with his son is being denied that. It's so incredibly unfair.
Because most of the time, no one really wants to listen to my random ramblings and such...
