I know this sounds bizarre, but if this resonates with you, feel very blessed. Many never get to have this kind of connection with someone, and even fewer are wise enough to recognize it's magnitude.
I treasure mine and I am thankful for experiencing it, even when it seemingly knocks me on my ass 12 years later.
After some much needed perspective, I realize what a true blessing it was in my life. That journey led me to where I am... And I choose to smile at the memory.
