Today, I celebrate the 2 year sobriety anniversary of one of my dearest and most amazing friends, Rahul. I'm so insanely proud of him and how far he has come in that short amount of time. He's a motivation for me and is living proof of the positive things that can happen in your life with the right focus and ambitions. I'm raising my proverbially empty glass in his honor, and toasting his continued success and happiness!
And at the same time, I see the (wo)man in the mirror and I wonder when I'm finally going to make the serious commitment to join him in that venture. I think I'm too selfish to do it.
Because most of the time, no one really wants to listen to my random ramblings and such...
