There is nothing better than seeing the fruits of your labor. The butterfly garden Jayson and I created last summer in our backyard has been a labor of love. It's a constant battle with weeds and other things that want to set up shop in this little corner of our yard. But this weekend, it all made the effort worth it. Our first real permanent resident of the garden was here all weekend long. This Tiger Swallowtail has decided to come stay with us for awhile and I couldn't be happier. It was so friendly I was even able to let it crawl onto my hand. Clearly I wasn't able to snap a picture but I did manage to get close enough for these two.
