Working from home can be an incredibly lonely existence sometimes. You don't have a steady stream of people walking by your office, stopping to say hello and to ask how your weekend was. So you really rely on electronic communications from the outside world to keep you going sometimes.
That being said, all of my usual "daily friends" are off doing different things this week. One coworker is in France. Another one is in Las Vegas. A friend is at the beach on a girls trip, and another is busy busy busy this week and hardly has a moment to stop and take a breath.
And I'm here, and I'm lonely. Sigh...
(I guess this means I should be super productive and get as much work done as possible right?)
Because most of the time, no one really wants to listen to my random ramblings and such...
